PAYMENT & PRICING
1. Currencies & exchange rates
- Automatic currency localization: Prices are displayed and charged in the currency of your delivery destination.
- Prefer to pay in USD? Switch your site region to United States to settle in USD.
- Exchange rate: If your local currency is not supported, your order will be charged in USD at a competitive exchange rate.
We do not support cryptocurrency payments.
2. When will my card be charged?
For debit/credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported methods, charges or authorizations occur when your order is placed. The exact posting time may vary depending on your card issuer or payment gateway.
3. Accepted Payment Methods
We work with trusted, PCI-compliant payment processors to support a range of secure payment options. Available methods may vary by country or device, but typically include:
- Major credit and debit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.).
- Selected digital wallets (for example Apple Pay, Google Pay, or equivalent options where supported).
- Alternative local methods or buy-now-pay-later services when available in your region, as shown at checkout.
The exact list of available payment methods for your region will always be visible on the final checkout step.
4. Taxes, Duties, and Pricing (DDP)
Product prices on CHINANIO generally exclude local sales taxes and import duties unless stated otherwise. Depending on your shipping country, we may either:
- Pre-collect taxes and duties (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid): estimated taxes and duties are shown at checkout and collected by CHINANIO, so you should not pay anything extra to the courier on delivery.
- Ship DAP / DDU (unpaid duties): your local customs office or courier may charge taxes, duties, or handling fees when the parcel enters your country.
We always aim to present charges as clearly as possible at checkout. However, final assessments are made by your local customs authorities and may differ slightly from estimates.
5. PSD2 & 3-D Secure Verification (EU)
For customers paying with cards issued in the EU or UK, banks are required to perform additional security checks under PSD2 “Strong Customer Authentication” rules. This usually appears as a 3-D Secure step (for example, a code sent by SMS, a banking app confirmation, or a password screen).
- During checkout, you may be redirected to your bank’s page or app to confirm the payment. Please follow the instructions until you are returned to CHINANIO.
- If you do not complete or pass this verification, the payment will be declined and the order will not be created.
- If you repeatedly have issues with 3-D Secure, please contact your bank or try another card/payment method.
6. Payment Troubleshooting
If your payment is declined or you encounter an error message, please try the following steps:
- Double-check that your card number, expiry date, CVC, billing name, and billing address are correct.
- Ensure that your bank has enabled international or online transactions and that you have sufficient funds.
- Complete any 3-D Secure or bank verification steps and avoid closing the browser or app until the process is finished.
- Try another browser or device, or switch to a different payment method or wallet if available.
- If the problem persists, contact your bank or payment provider first, then reach out to CHINANIO Client Services with screenshots or error details.
7. How to Delete Saved Card Details
CHINANIO does not store your full card number or CVC on our own servers. Instead, our payment partners use encrypted tokens to remember your card for faster checkout, when you choose to save a card.
- If you have a CHINANIO account, you can usually manage saved payment methods in your Account / Payment section (where available) or at checkout by deselecting the “save card” option.
- To remove a stored card token, log in and delete the saved method, or contact CHINANIO Client Services and we will request removal via our payment processor.
- Removing a saved card does not affect past orders or refunds that are already being processed to that card.
8. Pricing Accuracy & Updates
We work hard to keep all prices and promotions accurate, but occasional errors or updates may occur. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice, especially during promotional periods.
- If we discover a clear pricing error after you place an order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item.
- Discounts and promotional codes generally cannot be applied retroactively to orders already placed, unless stated otherwise in the campaign rules.
- The price you see at checkout (including any applied discounts and estimated taxes/duties) is the price that normally applies to that specific order.
9. Refund Processing Time
Once CHINANIO has approved your refund and issued it on our side, the time it takes for funds to appear in your account depends on the payment method and your bank.
- Card refunds: typically 5–10 business days from the date we process the refund, although some banks may take longer.
- Digital wallets or local methods: timing varies by provider; please refer to their policies.
- Store credit: usually added to your CHINANIO account shortly after approval and can be used immediately for new purchases.
If a refund does not appear after we confirm it has been issued, please contact your bank or payment provider first, then reach out to our Client Services team with any reference numbers they provide.
10. Privacy & Security
Protecting your payment data and personal information is a core priority for CHINANIO.
- Our checkout uses secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all sensitive information.
- Payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers; CHINANIO does not store full card numbers or CVC codes.
- We only use your payment and billing information to process your order, handle refunds, and comply with legal or accounting requirements.
- For more details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy available via the footer of our website.
